One of the big draws at this year's BVE will be getting to see NVIDIA's Maximus up and running. Our consultant and 3D expert Ben Kitching is on PNY NVIDIA's stand for the duration of BVE 2012, demoing Maximus and fielding any questions (also, check the video of Pete Butler from PNY for more info). We'll be posting any new developments below...

Combining a Quadro board coupled with a Tesla C2075 card, NVIDIA's Maximus technolgy seriously accelerates GPU-based rendering, while maintaining the fidelity of display output. Ben's been involved with the technology since IBC 2011, and recommends it to customers who want to work even faster. He said: "it means you can perform visualisation processes on a finished scene, while still delivering new ideas with full interactive 3D graphics at the same time. Whatever graphics or video app you're using, from Autodesk Maya to Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5.2, Maximus lets you work faster than ever".
